Christmas Tree Lighting

This holiday season the City of Holly Springs and the Cherokee County Volunteer Aging Council are joining together to help senior citizens in need. We invite you to help us light and decorate our 6th Annual Tree of Hope on Friday, December 1st at 6:30 p.m. at the Holly Springs Community Center, the Historic Train Depot. The Tree of Hope will honor all seniors that are served by the Cherokee County Senior Services Center.

The Tree of Hope is sponsored this holiday season by the City of Holly Springs, The Volunteer Aging Council, Northside Hospital-Cherokee and the Holly Springs Downtown Development Authority. We are asking the community to help decorate our holiday tree by making a contribution of $10 or more “In Honor of” or “In Memory Of” a friend or loved one. For each donation, an ornament with your honoree’s name will be placed on the community tree. All the details can be found on this form.

Entertainment will be provided by the Holly Springs Elementary School. Make plans to bundle up and join us as we light the Tree and afterwards, stay for hot apple cider and Christmas cookies.
