Municipal Court is held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. The Honorable Darrell Caudill, Jr. presides over the proceedings and the Honorable Jeff Russbridge is the Solicitor. Information about pending cases can be discussed by calling the Municipal Court during normal business hours and speaking to the Court Clerk, Gena Higgins.
If you have a citation (sample citation) and need the amount due, go to http://www.hollyspringsepay.com/ and enter your citation number and birth date, or call Court Services at 770-345-5538. Payments are accepted in the form of cash, money orders, certified checks (NO personal checks) and in person with a major credit or debit card (must have a MasterCard or VISA logo on it) or online by a major credit or debit card at http://www.hollyspringsepay.com/. You may make your payment in person Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm or by mail to Holly Springs Municipal Court, P.O. Box 990, Holly Springs, GA 30142. Make money orders and certified checks payable to Holly Springs Municipal Court. DO NOT SEND CASH THROUGH THE MAIL. Payments can be made in person up to the day before your assigned court date otherwise you will have to show up in court to make any payment. Online payments can be made up to 8:00 AM on the day of your assigned court date. Payments must be made in full; no partial payments will be accepted. Payments must be received or postmarked no later than the court date listed on the citation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Can a citation be paid with a credit or debit card? Yes. In person at the court house or online at http://www.hollyspringsepay.com/ (Please note, there is a nominal convenience fee for paying citations online.)
2. Are there other payment options available to pay fine and court costs? No. We do not accept partial payments. The fine must be paid in full.
3. Is a court appearance required for a paid citation? No. A court appearance is not required for any citation paid prior to the court date.
4. To whom should money orders be made out to? All money orders should be made payable to Holly Springs Municipal Court. Personal checks are not accepted.
5. Can a citation be contested? Yes. The citation can be contested before the Judge serving on the appointed court date.
6. Can a court date be reset? Yes. You are allowed to reset a court date ONE time only. You MUST appear in person to the office of the Court Clerk prior to your original scheduled court date.
7. Can the Judge or Solicitor discuss my case with me prior to my court date? No. The Judge and Solicitor should not be contacted.
8. How long is a court session? It depends on the number of court docket cases and the number of defendents who appear in court.
9. What happens if I miss my court date? Failure to appear in court can result in the suspension of your driver's license or a bench warrant as well as a failure to appear and/or warrant fee applied to your current fine amount.
Our current judge issues warrants for amounts for less than $500. He makes the decision at the call of the docket as to whether we suspend a license or do a warrant and the fee varies based upon the charge.
