The Police Department and Municipal Court facility moved to a new building in November of 2004. The facility was renovated from the former Elks Lodge and provides over 12,000 square feet of space to house the department, host public meetings and service the city. The building was named after retired Chief Randy Moore in December of 2004 and a plaque to memorialize all of Holly Springs' past police chiefs hangs in the foyer of the facility.
Notice
As of September 11, 2008, the Holly Springs Police Department will offer individual criminal background histories for a nominal fee of $10.00 payable by cash or money order and proper identification. This service is available to individuals, employers, landlords, daycare centers, churches, and any other organization or group requiring criminal background histories for its clients. A signed release form is necessary before a history check can begin. Wait time for a complete history will take no longer than 24 hours.
