General Information

Holly Springs provides recreational and leisure opportunities for the whole family. The City offers such facilities as playgrounds, walking trails, a ball field, and picnic pavilions.

Barrett Park
Barrett Park is Holly Springs' first major recreational area, featuring a playground and a walking trail, which meanders through a scenic natural area. The 13-acre park is conveniently located at 120 Park Lane, just off Hickory Road across from Holly Springs Elementary School. The City is currently working on plans for additional facilities in the park. The Park's gazebo and multi-purpose field is available for rent.


JC Mullins
J.C. Mullins Field

The City's J.C. Mullins Field is a regulation sized baseball field, which is home to several area teams. Surrounding the ball field is a walking trail, "tot lot," and picnic pavilion. J.C. Mullins Field is located at 150 Childers Academic Circle, off Holly Springs Parkway behind R.L. Tippens Educational Center. For information regarding scheduling playing time at the ball field, contact City Hall.



JB Owens
J.B. Owens Park
J.B. Owens Park, named for the late James Baxter "J.B." Owens, who was the last agent at the City's Historic Train Depot, opened in the summer of 2015.  The 33-acre park features a playground, two pavilions for public use, natural and concrete trails and an open play field. J.B. Owens Park is located at 2699 Hickory Road near Harmony on the Lakes subdivision. The Park's pavilions and multi-purpose field is available for rent.
