The Mission of the Holly Springs Tree Commission is to provide support, leadership, resources and opportunities for the preservation of specimen trees, the promotion of Arbor Day, the beautification of public spaces throughout the City and the Tree City USA designation for the City of Holly Springs.
The Tree Commission was established in 2018. The Commission consists of five members, each serving a one-year term. City Council appoints members annually, and at their discretion may appoint members for consecutive terms.
Participating on a community board or authority is the best way citizens can take part in shaping the community around them. City Council makes appointments annually, or as needed as vacancies arise. To be considered for appointment, please complete the Board and Community Organization Application. Completed applications will be kept on file until a vacancy arises. Please send completed applications to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Meeting Schedule: Second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
